Zebrina serija ds8100 velja za edino serijo, ki združuje moč 800 MHz mikroprocesorja, visokoločljivega čitalnega modula in Zebrine ekskluzivne tehnologije PRZM, kar v praksi omogoča zajemanje tudi najbolj problematičnih črtnih kod. Za napajanje naprave sta na voljo dve zamenljivi možnosti napajanja: baterija PowerPrecision + ali kondenzator PowerCap™.
